Cuba Gooding Jr., flew into Chicago last week for the premiere of his new he said, she said flick What Love Is at the Kerasotes City North 14 Theater. First of all, I thought his movie was hilarious. The film addresses some classic and modern day dating, sex and relationship stereotypes. After the premiere Gooding and some of The Boots Girls headed to Enclave for the after-party.

The never too cool for school Gooding partied with my peeps and I. He is one of the few celebrities who remembers where he came from and goes out of his way to take care of his fans. Here Gooding is with Amber Goodhand and I.

Ahhhhh show me the money! Gooding has a great sense of humor. My favorite Cuba maneuver is his candle joke. He’ll pick up a candle, toast with it and then proceed to drink from it until the fire almosts burns his nose. Then he’ll jump out of his seat as if he didn’t know it wasn’t his cocktail. So cheesy, but so funny!

“After spending 5 minutes with him I forgot he’s a big movie star,” Goodhand said of Cubes 2. “He makes you feel so comfortable.”

Cubes 2 hit the town with the film’s producer John Hermansen.

Here’s Gooding with The Boots Girls’ good friend Lindsey Hays, President of Grace Public Relations.
“Cuba was a riot at Enclave dancing on top of his VIP booth for the crowd,” Hays said. “He was super friendly and fun.”

And last but DEFINITELY NOT least, Gooding got the rare opportunity to meet both Victoria and Everything S.O.S. and Stuff To The Left, To The Left Give Me A Buzz as JUSTIN WILKIE (at the theater) and as…

Victoria at the after party! (Note: Vickie took two hours to get ready! Such a Nine West diva!!!)
“Cuba got a kick out of seeing me as Justin and Victoria,” Victoria S.O.S. said. “He was cool with me dressing as a woman and said I should be happy and dress however I want to.”
Oh and I will also add that Vickie has told me everyday since we hung out with Gooding that Thursday night was “the best night” of her life.
