Dennis Quaid has a message for his ex-wife Meg Ryan: Move on!

Ryan has talked to several media outlets about her failed marriage to Quaid and his cheating during recent interviews to promote her new movie The Women. She even made sure to make it clear that she cheated on Quaid with Russell Crowe only after Quaid did.

“Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful,” she told In Style in one of the interviews. She said something similar to Good Morning America, adding: “I found out more about [his infidelity] once I was divorced.”

Dennis, who is married to real estate agent named Kimberly Buffington and had twins with last November, wants Meg to keep her mouth shut at least for the sake of their 16-year-old son.

“It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship,” the actor told the New York Daily News. “Also, I find it regrettable that our son, Jack, has to be reminded in a public way of the turmoil and pain that every child feels in a divorce.”

Quaid continued by adding, “I, myself, moved on years ago and am fortunate to have a happy, beautiful family.”

Dennis Quaid is packin’ up the fam and movin’ to his wife’s hometown of Austin, Texas.

After dealing with his infant twins’ medical nightmare seven months ago Quaid realized what’s important in life and told Extra, “The train is going down the tracks…We have a lot of family there and we have a really nice plot of land…We have 30 or 40 friends and family members within two miles of us…It’s kind of a no-brainer.”

Quaid has had a long and prosperous career in Hollywood and we wish him all the happiness with his friends and family!

Extra caught up with Sarah Jessica Parker yesterday to talk about her new flick Smart People, which she stars in with Dennis Quaid. However, the interview got a little off track. Parker talked about the progress of the Sex and the City movie.

“I’m very excited. We’ve still got a lot of work to do, and very little time to do it but I’m hoping that it’s worth the wait.”

SJP also addressed rumors that there’s another Sex and the City television series in the works.

“As a mother I just can’t be away from my son that kind of time…He wants me around and I’m glad because there’s going to come a time sooner or later that he doesn’t want me around.”

Parker and Quaid attended the Cinema Society and Linda Wells after-party of Smart People last night at the Bowery Hotel in New York City.

I introduced myself to Dennis Quaid at the U23D party at Greenhouse at the Top of the Main and told him I’ve been writing about his recent Chicago visits in my column in the RedEye Edition of the Chicago Tribune. To that, he laughed hysterically.

Um…can someone please tell me why that’s funny?

Anyway, despite the tragic medical mix-up that harmed his newborn twins, Quaid and his wife Kimberly Buffington appeared stronger than ever. At the party the two were laughing, smiling, kissing and enjoying life. They are party animals! They stayed for a long time and were kicking back the cocktails. Yeah, baby!
