It may be cool this summer in Chi-Town, but Hugh Jackman sure made some local lucky ladies sweat this week!

Hugh Jackman has been spotted out and about in the Windy City with his bestie Richard Marx. The duo popped up at Joe’s on Thursday night to check out the band KingBilly, and made a crowd of screaming lady fans very happy by taking the stage themselves!

“He was a total natural up there singing - very
Broadway-esque,” an eyewitness tells The Boots Girls. “They sang Richard Marx’s number one hit from the 80’s, Right
Here Waiting [For You], and the women went nuts!”

Word has it Jackman was just in town to hang out with his I Love You Man BFF, Richard, at his house in Lake Bluff.

Jackman also managed to make women swoon during his workout at The Gym at The James Hotel with personal trainer Jim Karas pre-Joe’s. After sweating it out, he took down a smoothie prepared by David Burke’s Primehouse Executive Chef Rick Gresh.

Everyone who encountered the sexy Aussie had nothing but nice things to say about him.

“He was a very nice and friendly,” a source said. “He was awesome!”

And he is very nice, friendly and AWESOME to look at. Damn!

So People magazine has declared Hugh Jackman as the “Sexiest Man Alive” and we are questioning their intentions like we always do! Cuz, they’re shady!

That’s great and we are truly happy for Hugh! We just wonder what kind of a $$$$$$$$$$$$$ deal he brokered with shady People magazine.

We hope he coughed them up for every penny they are worth, because we well know here that they are fully capable of ripping off exclusive stories from other publications, LIKE US!, and not giving us credit!

Hugh Jackman doesn’t just play a superhero, apparently he really is one! Jackman was in San Diego promoting his alter-ego Wolverine at Comic-Con when disaster struck.

According to the National Enquirer, two female fans were hanging out in the parking lot dressed as X-Men characters Magma and Storm when they attempted a stunt where the woman playing Magma set her arm on fire. Storm was supposed to put the flames out, but to no avail and Magma’s hair caught on fire!

Hugh saw all of this go down and quickly rushed to the woman’s rescue by yanking “her costume’s cape over her head, smothering the flames as he yelled for security.”

Looks like all that stunt training for X-Men really paid off!
