Tiger Woods is expected to make a public apology at 11:00 a.m. this Friday Feb. 19 at the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., his agent Mark Steinberg announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Tiger “will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates,” the statement reads. The golfer will “discuss his past and his future and he intends to apologize for his behavior.”

And while the press conference is not an “open media event,” arrangements are being made to “pool” Tiger’s responses to outside media outlets.

This will be Tiger’s first confirmed public appearance since his scandals became apparent over the Thanksgiving 2009 weekend.

Good luck Tiger… We imagine you’ll probably need all the support you can get!
