Jennifer Love Hewitt Defends Cheryl Burke
Jennifer Love Hewitt defended Cheryl Burke yesterday who recently received scrutiny for her body size and said the criticism of the Dancing With the Stars competitor’s body is “really insensitive.”
“Cheryl Burke is so beautiful and an amazing dancer and that’s what people should concentrate on,” Hewitt, who fought back against criticism of her own bikini body, said yesterday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Burke was recently criticized by DWTS pros Louis Van Amstel and Maksim Chmerkovskiy for gaining a few pounds over the summer.
“I think [people] feel like people don’t have any feelings,” Hewitt said.
Hewitt has dropped weight since her bikini pictures surfaced last year and she says it’s because she’s been training for a marathon.
“My body just changed,” she said. “When you’re running that much and working out like that, that’s what happens. I was happy with myself in those photos, and I’m still happy.”
Well, whatever she’s doing it’s working. She looked fantastic on the show yesterday!
