Natalie Portman, A Late Bloomin’ Party-Girl?!
Unlike most celebrities who made their film debuts at a young age, Natalie Portman didn’t start partying till she was actually legal!
In the latest issue of Marie Claire, Natalie plays the dork card saying, “OK, so I didn’t really go to any high school parties. And yeah, I didn’t touch pot til I was in my 20s.”
Once she got into Harvard University, Natalie started experimenting with substance abuse, admitting, “I didn’t get flat-out drunk until I went to college.”
However, she’s confident in her decision to postpone her party-girl ways saying, “I think that’s a good thing in many ways.”
And while she does enjoy letting loose every so often, drugs and alcohol are not her stimulants of choice. So what is? Work! “Work was like an all-you-can-eat buffet,” she tells the magazine. “And I was like, ‘I’m hungry!’ I tend to get overambitious with what I can do.”
In two upcoming flicks, Portman plays two very different characters. In the drama Brothers, she plays a mother and wife torn between two brothers, Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal.
In her other movie, Black Swan, Portman sets her sights on another woman, Mila Kunis for a love scene. Kunis recently said of the encounter, “It’s two girls making out, and guys have a thing for that. And Nat is like every guy’s dream. She’s a nerd’s idea of heaven…The whole thing is silly, but I can see why people care.”
A beautiful party animal that sometimes kisses girls? Natalie really is every guy’s dream girl!
