Are Janet Jackson and former longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri on the verge of getting back together?

Uhh, not so much. Despite rumors of reconciliation, Jackson STILL referred to Dupri as her “ex” in a recent interview with Atlanta’s The Bert Show.

BF to BFF?!

“I’m not the type of girl that stays in touch with your ex like that,” Jackson said.

“Jermaine is one of my best friends,” she said in a sleepy voice. “I love him to death. We’re still connected. We’re still good friends. We still talk.”

We wonder why he’s an exception?! Dude couldn’t even make it to her brother’s funeral! That doesn’t sound like a true BFF to us!

“We’re there for one another,” Jackson said of Dupri. “I think it will remain that way for the rest of my life.”

Yeah, he’s really there for you alright…
