Rihanna Was Blinded By Love!
In an interview with 20/20’s Diane Sawyer airing tonight on ABC, Rihanna recalls the night Chris Brown played punching bag with her face and then took a bite out of her like she were a freakin’ burger!
At the time of the attack, Rihanna tells Sawyer that her then boyfriend was “blank” and “blacked out.”
As in blacked out from a little powder and liquid courage?
“It wasn’t the same person that says I love you. It was not those … eyes,” the singer says. “He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank… He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him.”
Remembering back to that brutal night, Rihanna explains that Brown put her in headlock twice and then bit her ears and fingers! Was Breezy on some vampire shit?!
Though Chris has tried to apologize numerous times, Rihanna can’t find it in heart to fully forgive him and we don’t blame her!
“I just said to him, ‘I can’t do this.’ I resented him,” she says. “I always put the tough face on and try to, I can do anything face, and just try to play it off. But he knew.”
Rihanna even lied to Chris to avoid future beat-downs!
“He kept asking me, ‘You hate me, don’t you?’” she says. “And I would lie and I would say, ‘No, no.’ And… I did hate him. Everything about him annoyed me.”
The question boggling everyone’s mind is why she reunited with him in Miami at Diddy’s crib. Today, the singer calls the reunion a mistake and realizes she was blinded by love.
“I went through a host of emotions,” she tells Sawyer. “It was confusing for me. I was still attached by love. But I wasn’t thinking about the reality of the situation.”
Why has it taken Rihanna eight months to speak publicy on the incident? Is it simply a publicity stunt for her new album, Rated R, to be released Nov. 23? The singer explains…
“I knew I had to do this in order to move on for me and in order for my fans to move on with me because it would always be a question in their mind,” she explains. “I don’t want that five years from now every time they see Rihanna, they think of Chris Brown beating me. That’s not who I am. It’s just one thing that happened to me.”

I’ve watched snippets of this interview and my heart just breaks for Rihanna. i don’t think this is in anyway a publicity stunt.

Chris better stay locked up in his house after this interview airs! So many people hate him already…and this interview with more than likely increase their hate for him.

She and her management are exploiting this story to get attention for her new album.
Why didn’t she speak up long time ago.
I think Rihanna’s part in this exploitation is soulless.
I believe Rihanna is not being entirely truthful as to what happened.
Rihanna and Brown come from violent backgrounds and both were acting out. Rihanna is just as abusive as CB and she need to face it and get counseling for her abusive ragging behavior to.
