Katie Holmes To Get Down On SYTYCD!
So you think Katie Holmes can dance?
On Wednesday’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance, Nigel Lythgoe finally confirmed that Holmes will perform a Judy Garland-themed dance at the 100th show.
It’s rumored that the former Dawson’s Creek star will sing Garland’s Get Happy from her 1950 musical, Summer Stock.
Everyone’s making a big deal about her appearance and already gearing up for the big day!
“They are making it seem like a huge Broadway production,” a source told Usmagazine.com. “It’s a massive set.
So random! Why would they pick Holmes for the special 100th episode?!
She is expected to donate her performance fee to the Dizzy Feet Foundation, created by Lythgoe, Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba and choreographer Adam Shankman. The foundation provides scholarships to underprivileged youth.
We never pictured Katie as the dancer type, but we’ll be sure to tune in to the episode airing July 23!

This is SO random! I feel like if they were gonna pick someone to perform in this episode it would have been someone known for their dancing ability? Who knew Katie Holmes could even dance? I’ll prob watch now, just cuz I’m curious…
