T.R. Knight Hits the Stage!

T.R. Knight is officially off Grey’s Anatomy, but he’s already got his first new gig!
Knight will star in Jason Robert Brown’s Tony award winning Parade this fall in L.A., according to The Los Angeles Times.
“I am very fortunate to return to the theater playing Leo Frank in this incredible, acclaimed production of Parade,” says Knight, who has previously acted in two Broadway shows.
“After a five-year break, it feels great to be on stage again,” he continues.
Knight will play Leo Frank, the man who was convicted for murdering a 13-year-old girl in Atlanta, Ga. in 1913. The play chronicles the frenzy surrounding the trial.
Parade will run from September 24 to November 15.
Additionally, Knight is also in talks to headline the 2010 Broadway revival of Lend Me a Tenor.
Well we’re glad to see T.R. bounce back from such a devastating loss on Grey’s. We’re fully confident he’ll bring just as much talent to the stage as he did the screen!

I’m glad to see that after alllll the drama he went through on Grey’s he’s able to come out and find a project that brings him true happiness. I have a feeling he is going to excel in his work on stage.
