Carrie Prejean Gets The Last Laugh!
Perez Hilton came out on the Today Show this morning and said that he believes that when he asked Miss California Carrie Prejean about same-sex marriage during the Miss USA pageant, she should have left her politics out of it.
The problem is he asked a direct yes or no question on a politically driven issue. The only way she could’ve left her “politics out of it” would be if she dodged the question.
Here’s his question:
“Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?”
Prejean said no because she believes marriage is between a man and a woman.
“I personally would have appreciated it had she left her politics and her religion out,” Perez said on Today. “She could have said…I think it’s important for the state’s to make those decisions for themselves.”
That’s great Perez, but that WOULD NOT have been answering the question. You specifically asked if every state should follow suit with Vermont in legalizing same-sex marriage - not if it should be a state or federal issue!
He went on to say that Miss USA should not be a person who is politically incorrect.
“Miss USA is not a person who is not politically incorrect,” Perez said.
So what, she should have lied and gone against her beliefs to appease people like you? That’s a typical answer from a typical radical liberal who believes that no one should have an opinion if it’s different than their own. We’re glad Prejean stuck to her core beliefs and didn’t pander to the judges. Perez has made himself rich and famous by spewing hate and vicious attacks on people on his blog everyday and now he’s attacking Prejean for her religious beliefs. The guy is a hypocrite and everyone knows it. The joke’s on Perez because his rants calling her a dumb b*tch has made her a bigger star than the girl who actually won!
Prejean even thanked Perez on Neil Cavuto’s show today. It’s nice to see the good

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it’s good that Carrie stuck to her beliefs. I do kinda believe though that Miss USA should be accepting of all people and the choices they want to make in their life. Regardless of everything though, I think Perez needs to calm down and give the girl a break.

It is radical to think all American citizens deserve the same rights? How do you sleep at night lady? You will answer for your bigotry on Judgement Day.
