After high as a kite Joaquin Phoenix made a total ass of himself yesterday afternoon at the taping of The Late Show With David Letterman, he continued to fall to rock bottom by attending the evening premiere for his new flick with a very uncomfortable looking Gwyneth Paltrow!

Phoenix continued his magical mystery tour by walking the red carpet with Paltrow at the New York City premiere of Two Lovers at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

I think Gwynie’s WTF look on her face says it all! I hope Phoenix did TV interviews on the red carpet there - there’s nothing better than more train wreck TV.

I also hope Joaquin has a big bottle of Xanax waiting for him when he wakes up tomorrow morning or night or days from now and sees how he acted last night. He sure as hell is going to need it. Yikes!
