Boots Girls Exclusive With Nick Cannon: “I’m Happy As I’ve Ever Been In My Life!”

Nick Cannon spun at Underground on Thursday night for The Grinch Who Gave Back Christmas Make-A-Wish benefit and Cannon took the time to speak with The Boots Girls before getting behind the turntables. Cannon wouldn’t take any personal questions – including those rumors about his wife Mariah Carey being pregnant – but he did talk about his love for children and how he is the happiest he’s ever been!
BG: You do so much in entertainment, how does DJing fit into the mix?
NC: It’s a hobby. I just live music and do it for fun.
BG: What kind of music can we expect to hear?
NC: I mix it up.
BG: Tell me about your charity event with Big Brother and Big Sisters.
NC: I just love kids. Whether it was my days at Nickelodeon or my grandmother who was a foster mother for 20 years. I was raised by my grandmother so I’ve always been around kids. That’s just a natural direction for me to go when it comes to giving back to the community.
BG: What’s your number one passion?
NC: I want to say comedy and I want to say music.
BG: This year is coming to an end, are you happy with this year?
NC: I’m happy as I have ever been in my life. You know, I am looking forward to next year too.
BG: Why are you?
NC: Just the place that I’m in personally, physically, spiritually. I just feel like I am in the best condition. I’m ready for a fight, the best condition I’ve ever been in.
BG: What is your New Year’s Resoltion?
NC: I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions. To make it to 2010. That’s my New Year’s resolution. To keep it going. I’m definitely excited. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on and I’m launching my new company Incredible Entertainment.
BG: If you could work with anybody in music or acting, who would it be?
NC: I would love to do something with Eddie Murphy and I’d love to do something with Morgan Freeman.
BG: Yeah, he’s a stud.
NC: An 80-year-old black man turns you on?
BG: Yeah.
BG: You’ve been to Chicago before, what are your favorite places to visit?
NC: Rock n’ Roll McDonalds!

It’s funny that he won’t answer “personal” questions but totally gave you personal information. I wonder why he is the happiest he’s ever been? Hmmm… could it be Mariah?
