Since Nickelodeon’s All That, Amanda Bynes has always played a young clean-cut gal. But now, to prove she’s grown up, Amanda is posing on the cover of Maxim!

“I had the best time on this shoot,” she says of posing on the cover of the February issue. “I think every shot I did was sexy. Some people still see me as a kid, but I’m a 23-year-old woman now.”

Amanda, who stars in the upcoming flick, Easy A, wants “to show people” that she is no longer just a child star.

“My parents were like, ‘Does this mean you’re gonna do sexy movies now?’” she tells Maxim. “I said, ‘Well, if they’re done the right way, then maybe!’ I mean, I’m not gonna do porn, but if it’s a Leonardo DiCaprio movie or whatever… Point is, it’s time for me to start making my own decisions.”

And while Amanda admits she “wouldn’t mind” making out with DiCaprio, she currently has her eye on someone else!

“I like someone right now,” the star, who was last tied to Doug Reinhardt, says. “Hopefully we’ll end up becoming an official couple, but that’s something we both have to decide. Right now we’re vibing, so that’s cool.”

So, what’s Amanda’s type???

“I never really say I have a type, because every guy I’ve liked has looked physically different,” she says. “Most guys I’ve dated started as friends, though. Treat me like a friend and maybe you can become a boyfriend.”

Finally, a down-to-earth and normal actress… We didn’t think they even existed anymore!

Amanda Bynes has has dumped her baseball player loser boyfriend Doug Reinhardt.

“She ended it. She had had enough,” a source close to the actress tells Usmagazine.com. “Her friends didn’t trust him. Everyone thought he was using her for celebrity. He was not good, and she was over it. It was definitely her who ended it.”

No kidding he was using her. We exclusively reported that he was dating this girl when he started dating Amanda.

Good riddens!

Amanda Bynes says she never wants to walk down the aisle.

“I say I never want to get married. I feel trapped with the idea of marriage,” she declares in the January issue of Cosmopolitan.

She goes onto to say that she’d be bored with the same person forever.

“How can you really be with somebody forever? I’d get bored!” she adds. “As I get older, I don’t settle. I’d rather tell somebody, ‘This is what I want — take it or leave it.’”

Well yeah, when you’re dating a two timing loser like Dough Reinhardt, of course you’re going to be jaded by the idea of marriage!

Amanda Bynes has been dating the tool that is Hills loser Doug Reinhardt and we’re not sure why. If she hasn’t figure out what this sad reality-TV star is all about yet, we’ll fill her in!

Here’s what a Boots reader e-mailed us about the OTHER girl (pictured above!) he was also dating when he started dating Bynes.

A few weeks ago my friend hooked up with Doug Reinhardt. He basically promised her the world, said he wanted to “move her to LA to be his girlfriend because he could see himself falling in love with her very quickly.” He was sexy and fun, but didn’t exactly meet the intelligence requirement that my girlfriend has for serious boyfriends. They continued to have lots of phone time after he left Boston and they were planning a romantic vacation just the two of them to Hawaii from Nov. 28- Dec. 3rd. Suddenly, a few days before Thanksgiving she stopped hearing from him. Apparently, he was getting busy with Amanda Bynes, and their vacation never happened.

I’m writing to you for two reasons, the first one being that he is only using Amanda for publicity and she deserves to know. The 2nd reason I’m writing is that he’s a total a**hole and the world deserves to know. You would not believe some of the profane, inane comments that come out of that man’s mouth. People ask, “Is he as big of a jerk in real life as he is on TV?” The answer is most certainly yes.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha! He promised trips to Hawaii! If we had a dollar for every time Doug promised some girl a trip to Hawaii, we’d probably be on a plane to the Aloha state right now!

“Nick and I were seeing each other for 10 months, then I broke up with him. I don’t think he’s ever had a girl break up with him before! And then I saw that he was with Kristin [Cavallari]. He’s the type of guy who always has to be with a girl- I don’t like that. So I realized that he’s not even my type! I feel like as you grow up, you realize what your type is.”

On her new boy:

“I have a boyfriend. He’s a web designer, and he’s cute. And I’m glad he’s not famous. Famous guys always come with a lot of baggage.”

On working out her family issues:

“Someone we knew recommended a therapist, and I’ve been seeing her off and on whenever I fight with my parents. It’s been better, but we’re not perfect. My mom hates my blond hair – she wants it to be brown. And when I go to meetings, my dad says, ‘Please don’t wear too much makeup!’ But I see that they’re doing the best to keep me grounded and to mold me into a good person who respects other people.”

Amanda Bynes is the May Seventeen cover girl and what better way to celebrate than to have a party! The mag threw a bash yesterday for Bynes and a few select guests at the Sunset Marquis in Hollywood.
